World Aids Day 2017

It was a great privilege to sing at the World Aids Day Service – it’s always a moving event and this year was extra-special because our bass singer David Fullman spoke as Lord Mayor.

We had a blast with Lulu!!

We had such a thrilling time singing on stage with Lulu on Saturday. We were joined by our friends from a local NHS choir Salutem who are also led by our MD Mike. It was brilliant to be cheered on by a packed Theatre Royal.

On stage with OUT140

We had a wonderful time singing on Stage Two at the Theatre Royal as part of OUT140: The Play! It was part of the Theatre Royal’s celebrations of 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.

Hand in Hand Manchester

We had the best time in Manchester at the Hand in Hand UK and Ireland LGBT Choirs Festival! We felt confident in our singing and got some fabulous feedback. We performed a mix of OUT140 songs as well as “Lean on Me” with a solo from Sue Lane and “I Only Want to Be with You”, Mike’s fabulous arrangement of the Dusty Springfield classic.

Norwich Pride 2017

We had another truly fabulous Norwich Pride – big thanks to all the organisers. We had a packed day singing at a pop-up performance in the Forum; the OUT140 Play on Millennium Plain; on the steps of City Hall; and all round the parade. We sang Club Tropicana in honour of George Michael. We even made the from page of the Evening News! That’s our alto Wendy celebrating our success!!
