Singing in the Sunshine

We had an amazing time singing at the Big Gay Out at Stody Gardens yesterday. The sun shone and the rhododendrons were gorgeous. We sang on the terrace and in the tea garden and we got lots of lovely feedback, and hopefully might have recruited one or two new people. It was the first time singing with our new MD Charlie Caine and he did a great job. The event raised over £1000 to ensure that the 10th Norwich Pride on 28th July is free and accessible to all. Camp as Christmas Quiz!

Oh what a wonderful time we had at our Christmas Quiz which had Panto-themed names for each round including “It’s Behind You” (History) “Boo Hiss!” (Villains) “Oh no they didn’t” (True or False). There was lots of calling out, dressing up and breaking into song. Precious were the winners – again! Di’s team have won the quiz a record three times. Ann’s team came second by half-a-point. We raised a whopping £278. Big thanks to organisers and caterers Shell and Stevie, and Frances for doing the raffle. The vegetarian chilli was fab-u-lous!

World Aids Day 2017

It was a great privilege to sing at the World Aids Day Service – it’s always a moving event and this year was extra-special because our bass singer David Fullman spoke as Lord Mayor.

We had a blast with Lulu!!

We had such a thrilling time singing on stage with Lulu on Saturday. We were joined by our friends from a local NHS choir Salutem who are also led by our MD Mike. It was brilliant to be cheered on by a packed Theatre Royal.
