You know it’s nearly time for Norwich Pride when the Pride without Prejudice exhibition opens at St Margaret’s Church of Art! We were delighted to sing at the Opening Party – the acoustics are fabulous and it’s great to be surrounded by such colourful art!

We had a gorgeous afternoon singing at the Red House in Aldeburgh. The Red House was the home of composer Benjamin Britten and his partner, the tenor Peter Pears. The Red House had a picnic to celebrate 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality and they invited us to perform.

We were delighted to work with acclaimed Australian performance artist Edwina Blush to create an acapella hive-scaped soundtrack as part of Dandifest 2017.
We had a wonderful day at Dereham Neatherd High School at the third annual Norfolk Community Choirs Festival. As well as taking part in some fabulous workshops and mass singing, we did a short performance of songs including Something Inside So Strong, Only Want to Be with You and Lean On Me which got everyone singing…
We had a ball at our Christmas Quiz! Lizzie was the Quiz-mistress and David, Steve and Julia organised all the food and trimmings! There was a prize for most Christmassy-looking team which set off a frenzy of competition!! The winners of the quiz were birthday girl Becky’s team. Here they are with their hands on…
The annual World AIDS Day service at St John’s on Timberhill was beautiful. We sang “Let it Be” and “Climb Every Mountain” which included a solo introduction from Phil.
A small but beautifully formed contingent from Sing with Pride sang at the candle-lit No to Hate Vigil in front of the Forum.
Oh what a wonderful day we had! We had a flashmob performance the Forum; we sang on the steps of City Hall (and the crowd joined in with “Dancing Queen” which was luveeeerly!!) and we sang and sang all round the parade. What a day!! Here’s a great pic of us from David Cleverdon.
