We perform at local, national and international festivals.<\/p>\n

Hand in Hand<\/strong> is the UK and Ireland LGBT Choirs Festival and it happens every two years. In 2013 we performed in the first Hand in Hand Festival in London. John Flinders, accompanist to the Pink Singers, the longest running LGBT choir in Europe, said:<\/p>\n

\u201c …for me, and for several of the people that I\u2019ve talked to, one of the real standout moments was your OUT140 Suite \u2013 an inspired way of sourcing a text for a new work, a succinct, interesting and very singable musical realisation, and a witty and passionate performance.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In 2015 we went to the second Hand in Hand festival in Brighton <\/a>and sang on the stage where Abba won the Eurovision Song Contest! We got some gorgeous feedback from other singers:<\/p>\n

“That was about as much fun as you could have in 10 minutes”<\/p>\n

“I loved the humour. It was great to be able to laugh.”<\/p>\n

“I loved how original your material was. You really looked like you enjoyed yourself. That’s a great thing to see in a choir.”<\/p>\n

In\u00a0August 2017 we went to Hand in Hand in Manchester. Loz Kay, the Musical Director of the Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus, gave us a fabulous review on Twitter:<\/p>\n

In 2019 we went to Cardiff; in 2024 we went to Bristol and we can’t wait for Hand in Hand in Blackpool in August 2027!\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Various Voices European LGBT Choirs Festival<\/strong> is every four\u00a0years in a different European city. In July 2014, some of us went to Dublin and joined with singers from across the UK, China and Taiwan to form the Proud Voices choir. That was an incredible experience.<\/p>\n

Norfolk Community Choirs Festival<\/strong> is an annual event. In January 2015, we went to the first festival in Swaffham<\/a>\u00a0and got a standing ovation from members of the audience with the premiere of our OUT140 Micro-Opera, created with Mary Benefiel.<\/p>\n
